Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? New Zealand (Maori: Ko Wai E Hiahia Ana Kia Noho Hei Tangata Miriona) was the New Zealand version of British show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. Aired from September 9 to November 11, 2008, on TV ONE channel. Hosted by Mike Hosking. Top prize was $1,000,000.
As in the syndicated U.S. version, contestants were selected for the show through a qualifying test instead of the traditional Fastest Finger First as seen on the British version.
The show was the same as the 2007 Australian version (including the filming location), except the 16th question had been removed, leading to the top prize being $1 Million.

In show were 4 main lifelines 50:50, Phone-A-Friend, Ask the Audience and additional Switch the Question who becomes available only after the contestant has correctly answered the $32,000 question.
