Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? is a Nigerian game show based on the original British format of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. It was first aired on October 8, 2004 in NTA and ended on June 25, 2017. The main goal is to win ₦20,000,000 (earlier ₦5,000,000 and ₦10,000,000) by answering 15 multiple-choice questions correctly. The show is presented by Frank Edoho since its inception.

In 2021, the Nigerian version was confirmed to be returning to air, with an increased top prize of ₦20,000,000. This season ran from March 20, 2022 to April 9, 2023.

  • One of the questions posed to the only winner of the game Aroma Ufodike, was dedicated to the Nigerian football referee Linus Mbah. This judge was his neighbour from above.
  • In the first season, there were only 12 episodes with 29 winners, in the second season - 37 episodes with 83 winners, in the third - 52 episodes with 98 winners.
  • In three seasons, 212 people took part in the game, with a total winnings of ₦73,236,000.
  • Emmanuel (in an episode aired July 2012) went the longest without, saving all three lifelines to the 13th question.
  • Sheila Solarin is the oldest contestant (as of April 2011, 87 years old).
  • In the 14th season, each episode contained a seizure warning that may contain flashing lights and vivid colors that may contain eye strain or seizures for certain viewers. This is the only version of Millionaire under the Dark Rave theme to give such a warning, despite other versions potentially having the same effect.
