Mega Kuis Satu Milyar - Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? was the first and main Indonesian version based off British Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. Aired from August 4, 2001 to July 30, 2006 on RCTI. Hosted by Tantowi Yahya. Top prize was 1,000,000,000 Indonesian rupiahs.
The second version of show is called Super Milyarder 3 Milyar.
The show was planned to return in 2019 and would be aired on GTV, but was cancelled due to unknown reasons.[1] Then, GTV announced that it would bring the show back again in 2021, but it was cancelled again.[2]
