Timur Hahn, a 26-year-old English student from Marburg, appeared as a contestant on Series 8 of Wer wird Millionär?, the German version of the show, on 8 January 2007. He won the €1,000,000 top prize, becoming the sixth top prize winner in the German version, and the fourth of the Euro era.
