The thirty-sixth series of the British version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? premiered on ITV from 17 January 2021.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no audience, so the Ask the Audience lifeline will not be used for the second series in a row.

Series 36 was confirmed by Stellify Media in a tweet on 12 January.
