This was the fifteenth series of the Australian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. It was hosted by Eddie McGuire.
Changes[]
- In this season, top prize has increased fivefold ($5,000,000), and in order to win it, the contestant needs to answer 16 questions correctly.
- A fourth lifeline was added (Switch the Question), available after answering 10 questions correctly.
- It is the first of two seasons for this version to use the rave graphic.
- Fastest Finger First is doesn't work in this season, the host will invite directly contestants to the studio.
- This is the first season used Rave graphic. But compared to the Rave graphic one in the UK version at this time, the font color at the background and lozenge was changed to blue, the lozenges were smaller, and the Phone-a-Friend clock have different design. This Rave graphic later used by most international WWTBAM shows which still broadcasted in 4:3 aspect ratio.
