The sixteenth season of Hvem vil være millionær?, Danish version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? was hosted by Hans Pilgaard. Episodes aired once a week on Saturday nights. This season aired just 3 days after the final episode of season 15 ended.
Changes[]
- This is the first season to use the Rave format and also the second international used this format. Intro based from UK version, but background is blue instead of both with purple.
- This was the first season and the first version in worldwide to use the Covalo soundtrack for Intro, commerical break and closing cues, but still keeping the Strachan soundtrack for other sounds. They did not switch completely to the Rave soundtrack of Ramon Covalo until autumn 2013 season.
- The soundtrack of the Q1-5 was same as the Super Millionaire version.
- This is the first season to use the Rave graphic. But compared to the Rave graphic one in the UK version at this time, the font color at the background was changed to light blue, the lozenges was changed to dark blue, and the Phone-a-Friend clock have different design, and the animation somewhat different, in which the question lozenge was shown before the question text.
- This was the precursor to the creation of the blue international Rave graphics from the Australian version (known as Rave v1.0).
- Later, the graphic from the Macedonian version (known as Rave v2.0) was based on this graphic, but the color of the lozenges were light blue (similar to the Australian version), and using the Tahoma/Verdana as the main font.
- The color of the lozenges was later applied to the Croatian version, Arab World version and Turkish version.
