Rudi Carrell (19th December 1934 - 7th July 2006) was a Dutch entertainer, famous in both his home country and in Germany for The Rudi Carrell Show, a forerunner to many of today's reality singing talent shows. He also hosted successful dating show Herzblatt, on which he was succeeded by future WWTBAM host Rainhard Fendrich.
He appeared as a contestant on the sixth celebrity edition of Series 4 of Wer wird Millionär? on 26th May 2003 and won €500,000 for the children's charity "SOS-Kinderdörfer".
