Ray Albert Romano, from Forest Hills, New York, best known for playing the character Raymond in the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, was a celebrity contestant on the U.S. version of the show on May 4, 2000. He walked away with $125,000 for the New York Police Department Chapter of DARE.

He later reappeared on the 2020-21 revival of the show on January 24–31, 2021 and won $32,000 for Harvest Home. He then reappeared again with Everybody Loves Raymond co-star Brad Garrett on the 2024 season.

Ray competed on the primetime Celebrity Jeopardy! tournament in November 2022, where he was eliminated in the Quarterfinals and won $30,000 for Harvest Home.
