R J Sarma was a contestant who appeared in Kaun Banega Crorepati in February 14–15, 2001 and won Rs. 320,000. He became the second contestant on KBC to lose Rs. 4,680,000 two days after Ganesh Shinde.
He later appeared on the Indian version of The Weakest Link, on a special episode with former Kaun Banega Crorepati contestants, but was voted off and won nothing. His name was shown as "Janardhanan".
