Priya Kaur, a 15-year-old student at the Simin Rose Garden Montessori School, Baghat, Srinagar, appeared as a contestant on two episodes of the 2020-2021 series of Kaun Banega Crorepati, the principal Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, on 17 and 18 December 2020. She won Rs. 2,500,000.

Her run was filmed from 5-7 December. As she was not an adult contestant at the time of her big win, her winnings were put into a trust fund which she may access when she turns 18, under Indian law, however she has made the decision to give 10% of her winnings to charity.
