Trivia[]
During her $16,000 question, Nikki accidentally locked in C: Lighthouse, rather than her intended answer, A: 1917. To date, this is the only known instance in the shows’ history where a final answer was reversed.
It has been said that Kati Knudsen, a contestant who appeared on the original primetime version of the show, also mistakenly locked in the wrong answer to her $4,000 question, and had her final answer reversed as well, causing a controversial reaction in the audience; however, it is unknown whether or not this actually happened. If this is in fact true, it was edited out during production and went unaired. Kati would walk away with $32,000 after incorrectly answering her $500,000 question.
