Luis Meyer (a.k.a Reinhold Schlager) was contestant from Tuntenhausen-Ostermünchen, who appeared on episode of Wer wird Millionär? on May 16, 2003 and won €500.
Despite the fact that the rules of the show are forbidden for the second time to participate in the show (except for celebrities and the "Second Chance" special episodes), the contestant decided to bypass the ban and under another name and surname again took part in the hot seat opposite the host, having won €64,000. Later vigilant TV viewers saw something wrong on the air and called the editorial office of the show and explained that probably this contestant had previously appeared on the show. The team checked this information and found a cheating on the part of the contestant. As a result, he was deprived of the prize. Günther Jauch said, "Actually disadvantaged are the nine other contestants, who have not made it into the game, so they get a new chance from us and can compete again as soon as possible."
Luis became the first and only contestant in the German version's history, which was stripped of the prize for providing wrong data and circumventing the ban on re-appearance in the show.
