Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Wiki

Lawrence Allen Caplan, an attorney from Parkland, Florida, was a contestant on the Primetime version of the U.S. version of the show on January 14-15, 2000. He left with $32,000 after incorrectly answering his $500,000 question.

Lawrence became the second American contestant to lose $218,000, following Mark McDermott, who lost the day before Lawrence got into the Hot Seat.

Lawrence, as "Larry", was a 2-time Jeopardy! champion in its first season in 1984, winning $15,300. On his third game, he was defeated by eventual 5-time champion Elise Beraru. [1]
