Lại Văn Sâm (born June 10, 1957) is a Vietnamese journalist, former VTV3 chairman, a game show host and one of VTV's editors. He is the creator and also as the first host of the licensed Vietnamese version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, called Ai Là Triệu Phú from the first ever episode in January 4, 2005, to December 26, 2017. He also hosted Ai Là Triệu Phú - Ghế Nóng, the Vietnamese version of Millionaire Hot Seat. After his retirement at the age of 60, he was replaced by Phan Đăng in 2018.
So far, he is the male presenter that hosted the most episodes of a WWTBAM version in Vietnam, beating Hữu Luân, who was the male presenter that hosted the most episodes of the Vietnamese unlicensed WWTBAM show, Rồng vàng.

He also hosted shows like Đấu Trí (PokerFace), Chiếc nón kỳ diệu (Wheel of Fortune), Hãy chọn giá đúng (The Price Is Right), SV '96, SV 2000 (KVN), Chúng tôi là chiến sĩ, Trò chơi liên tỉnh (Intervilles), SASUKE Vietnam, Trò Chơi Âm Nhạc (The Lyrics Board - on 5th Anniversary episode), and Mặt Trời Bé Con (Little Big Shots).
After his retirement, he hosted shows such as Ký ức vui vẻ (De generatieshow), Quý ông đại chiến (Man O Man), Sống ở Mỏ, Vietnam IQ (an online quiz show), Cơ Hội Cho Ai (Whose Chance), and so on. He is also one of the judges of Siêu Trí tuệ Việt Nam (The Brain).
Family[]
He has a son going by the name Lại Bắc Hải Đăng, who was the director of Vietnam Television. He was once the director of Ai Là Triệu Phú in the earlier years of the show.
