Kodeeswari (Tamil: கோடீஸ்வரி), earlier - Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi (Tamil: நீங்களும் வெல்லலாம் ஒரு கோடி), NVOK or KBC Tamil is the one of 9 Indian versions for Tamil-speaking peoples based off British game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. It premiered on February 27, 2012 on STAR Vijay, but the fourth season aired on Colors Tamil. It is hosted by Suriya, Prakash Raj, Arvind Swamy and Radhika Sarathkumar. The top prize is ₹1 Crore.
In season 1 of the original version, for questions 1-5, the contestants were given 30 seconds to answer, for questions 6-10, the contestants were given 45 seconds to answer, and for questions 11-15, there was no time limit.
For the second season, the time limit for questions 1-5 was increased to 45 seconds while the time limit for questions 6-10 was increased to 60 seconds. Like last time, there was no time limit for questions 11-15. This format was also adopted by the women's edition reboot in 2019.
In season 3 of the original version, each player had a time limit of 60 seconds for all questions up until their single safety net that they set at the beginning of the game. After this, there is no time limit for the remaining questions.
