Jon Futrell (October 5, 1970 - June 2, 2021)[1] was a sportswriter from Mayfield, Kentucky who appeared on the special Oscars edition of the U.S. version of the show on March 24th, 2000 who after answering his $200 question wrong, he went home with nothing.

He'd return for a special zero dollar winners edition on May 20, 2001 and walked away with $64,000.
