Gladys Knight, known as the “Empress of Soul” from Las Vegas, Nevada, was a celebrity contestant of the U.S. version of the show on the Rockstar Edition of the show on February 11 & 14, 2001. Gladys won $125,000 for her chosen charity the American Diabetes Association.
