Virginio "Gerry" Scotti (born 7th August 1956) is an Italian television presenter, actor and former member of the Italian Parliament. He is the host of the Italian version of the show, Chi vuol essere milionario?, since its first episode back in 2000.
Since 2011, he has held the Guinness World Records for the most episodes of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? hosted by a male presenter.[1]
He also was the host of Chi vuol essere milionario? Edizione Straordinaria (Italian Hot Seat version) and of the Italian version of 50-50. He will be the first host of the Tournament version in 2026, as Chi vuol essere milionario? Il torneo.
