Summary (incomplete)[]

The special started with Chris Tarrant introducing the special. After that, they showed various clips of £125,000 and £250,000 questions that were played on the show.

After that, it went back to Chris. He said that the show has so far given away over £5,500,000, but no one has won £1,000,000 yet. They did, however, have a £500,000 winner:

  • Peter Lee's run from his £64,000 to £500,000 question.

Next, Chris Tarrant says the show now airs in over fifty countries, but the first international version was the Australian version. He mentions a contestant the show had who was poor and could not pay for his airfare home.

After a commercial break, Chris talks about women and how they are different from men, including how they act when playing Millionaire:

These clips were followed by another commercial break. When it was over, Chris along with other members of the production staff talk about the behind-the-scenes.

Later, Chris Tarrant introduces one more Millionaire contestant, the first one to go all the way. He considers him the "coolest, calmest contestant of all time" and said that Regis Philbin had "the whitest teeth ever seen on television".

After that, Chris says that the contestant is always the star of the show, regardless of who they are and how they are like. This is followed by a few short clips from the show before Chris closes the special.
