Fastest Finger First is a British spin-off of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? that began airing from 29 August 2022. Filmed in March, the show features five contestants trying for a chance to win a go in the main game's Hot Seat bypassing the usual Fastest Finger First round.

Quick-fire Game[]
All questions are general knowledge and use a direct response answer system akin to Jeopardy!, and are not multiple choice like Millionaire.
Toss-up[]
Toss-up questions are a question to choose who is in play. It is a basic question, where a player can buzz in and answer. If they are incorrect, they are frozen out and another player can answer. If both players don't know, the question is discarded and a new one is asked, with everyone back in to answer. The winner goes on to the money tree.
Money Tree[]
This game features a money tree structure of 13, with the player starting on 0, and it going up in increments of 1, up to 12. The player moves up for every answer they give, and can set a safety net at any time, which saves their score and goes to another toss-up. If the player answers incorrectly, they go back down to 0 (similar to Weakest Link), regardless of safety nets and it goes to another toss-up. The player gets 10 seconds per question or it counts as an incorrect answer. Whoever has the highest score when the klaxon sounds goes on to the duel. If someone is still in play, they get to continue their run to beat the high score.

Fastest Finger Duel[]
The 2 players in the game battle it out in 7 Fastest Finger First questions. Each one is set in the same way as usual, with a question and 4 answers, then the correct order being revealed, and then the times between the 2 players being revealed. The game ends automatically if a player gets 4 correct, as there is no way for the other player to win. The player who wins the 7-part duel stays in the hot seat, while the other joins the rest of them to play another toss-up. Whoever wins the last question of the show will get a fast-track into the main game with Jeremy Clarkson, without having to play the Fastest Finger Round in the show.
