Until this question, Erich had not used any of the three jokers. But having no knowledge of the answer to this question, he first asked the public's opinion, the majority of the public voted for answer B: tulip. Not having convinced of this vote, he then used the 50:50, the computer removed the answers B (the most voted) and the answer C. He was more or less saved by this joker. Having no idea, he then asks for the last joker, and to call his friend. The latter having no longer responded after 30 seconds, Erich decides to leave and leaves with the 16.000 DM. Before leaving, he validated answer D, but the answer was A. He was congratulated by Günther Jauch himself.
