David Rainford (1968 - March 7, 2020), also known as nickname Tremendous Knowledge Dave, from Manchester, England, was a contestant on the show on 9 April, 2005. He walked away with £250,000.
Years after his appearance on Millionaire, he became an Egghead on the BBC series Eggheads along with past Million Pound Winners Judith Keppel and Pat Gibson, and the £64,000 winner Barry Simmons.
In total, Dave was one of nine Eggheads alongside Kevin Ashman, Chris Hughes, Judith Keppel, Barry Simmons, Pat Gibson, David Rainford, Lisa Thiel, Steve Cooke and Beth Webster.
Sadly Rainford passed away on 7 March, 2020, aged 51.
