In 2021, Dan appeared on Mastermind and reached the final, where he lost to Jonathan Gibson, who became the show's youngest ever champion at age 24.
In 2024, Dan appeared on Series 19 of Only Connect as part of the "Also Rans" team, again reaching the final before losing to the "Thrifters" team.
In 2025, Dan appeared on the second season of the British version of Jeopardy!.
