Cut the Question is a lifeline which has appeared during special Whiz Kids weeks on the U.S. version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? since 2016.
From 2016, a contestant was given this special lifeline which allowed them to cut the original question and replace with a different, easier question (similar to Switch the Question, however that lifeline replaced the dropped question with one of the same difficulty grade). It can only be used up until the US$50,000 question, though.
The lifeline's graphic, appropriately, is a pair of scissors.
