Ask the Contestants (Portuguese: Ajuda dos participantes) is a lifeline introduced on Quem quer ser um milionário? in its 2025 season, replacing Ask the Audience.
Usage[]
The Ask the Contestants lifeline has a functionality similar to that of Plus One or Ask A Friend. When the contestant uses the lifeline, other contestants on the Fastest Finger First row can discuss the question with them until the contestant either answers the question or decides to walk away.
Like Plus One, the usage of Ask the Contestants lasts the duration a contestant faces the question, and they are allowed to use further lifelines or walk away.

- A similar lifeline was also seen once in the Hungarian version on 31 December 2000, having a name that translates to "Ask the Contestants Twice". Its use is unclear and has been lost to memory, but its name suggests that the sitting contestants can ask the Fastest Finger First contestants twice. It is also recalled as having been similar to Ask the Star, due to the players in that episode being celebrities.
- The lifeline was used from 1999 to 2021 on Show do Milhão as "Placards". The contestants waiting their turn would hold up numbered placards to vote on the answer.
