Politician and recent Strictly Come Dancing contestant Ann Widdicombe had appeared on the show with news anchor and celebrity Piers Morgan in 2006. Former heavyweight boxer David Haye had never previously played but later appeared on his own in 2020.

Phone-In Competition: Jamil Martin[]
During the Christmas Special Ann and David took part in, audience members could take part in a phone-in competition on a premium line telephone number. By ringing the number, they would be put into a draw. At the end of every celebrity's turn, a random caller was selected, who would be given one question to receive half of what the celebrity pair won. The other half went to charity.
