Nine years before appearing on the show, Andy appeared on Jeopardy! on May 1, 1991, finishing in 3rd place; one of his competitors was India Cooper, who would later become an undefeated five-time champion, participating in a few of its future tournaments.
Andy was a finalist on the August 19, 1999 show.
