Alan Thicke (born on March 1, 1947 - died on December 13, 2016) was a Canadian actor, songwriter, and a game and talk show host. He was best known for playing Dr. Jason Seaver on the sitcom Growing Pains. Alan appeared as an expert for the "Ask the Expert" lifeline on the U.S. version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? on November 18th and 20th, 2008 on the daytime version.
Thicke passed away in the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California related to aortic dissection on December 13, 2016.
