This was the fourth season of Ai Là Triệu Phú. It is hosted by Lại Văn Sâm. New blue graphics (which was firstly used on the Australian version) were introduced in this season and the last before Ai Là Triệu Phú - Ghế Nóng to replace for ten months.
This was one of two longest seasons of the show (along with Season 6) as of 2014, until Season 13 ten years later.
Lifeline[]
There are four lifelines:
- 50:50 (Năm mươi - Năm mươi)
- Phone-A-Friend (Gọi điện thoại cho người thân)
- Ask the Audience (Hỏi ý kiến khán giả trong trường quay)
- Ask Three of the Audience (Tư vấn tại chỗ). When this lifeline is picked, three people in the audience are randomly selected by the contestant for assistance, and they suggest the contestant the answer they think is correct. Can be used after answering the ₫1,000,000 question (5th question) correctly. A total prize fund of 600,000₫ is shared equally for each correct answer. However, if none of the three contestants give the correct answer, the prize fund will not be split.

- Special episodes with contestant pairs begin to be more frequent this season.
- Audience members who have chosen the right answer will get a shared price of ₫600,000.
- Three audience members all suggested different answers on February, 2009, but all were wrong, so the contestant (Nguyễn Thúy Trang) went home with ₫1,000,000 (Ask the Audience lifeline not used).
- Three audience members all suggested different answers on June 1, 2010. Also during that episode, in an another case, all three members didn’t suggested the right answer, so the pair went home with ₫1,000,000.
- On December 1, 2009 a contestant used 4 lifeline in one question. He didn't even answer that question right.
- On December 22, 2009, all three audience members suggested the same answer, but they got it wrong, so the contestant left with ₫15,000,000.
- There were six cases in this season where the contestant was given a bad question.
- Hoàng Xuân Vân Anh and her family has appeared in numerous show, including "Ở nhà chủ nhật in 2001, "Rung chuông vàng" (Ring the Golden Bell) around 2007 - 2008 before appearing in Ai Là Triệu Phú. Her elder brother appeared in Đường lên đỉnh Olympia (Digital LG Quiz) in 2014 - 2015 and won the weekly champion.[1]
