Not to be confused with 50:50.
50-50 is a game show which offers large cash prizes for correctly answering a series of multiple-choice questions. It is a spin-off of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and aired in many countries around the world.
Rules[]
In this game, instead of one player, there are two players who must play together to answer ten questions. Each question is worth a random amount, and all the money they win goes into their jackpot. If they answer a question incorrectly, they lose half their jackpot. Even though the couple is playing together, they must answer each question separately, but they can change each other's answers, though. After the tenth question, the playing couple takes their jackpot amount into the final, where they will have a chance to multiply their winnings by ten.
Only one player in the couple sees the question and its two answers and must pick one in under ten seconds. Then, the question is turned to the second player, but they are not shown the answer their partner turned down. Player 2 must decide whether to agree with his partner or to choose the other answer.
The last five questions in the final are played the same way as in Round 1, but this time, there are five locked-in answers. Player 2 now has to look at those five answers and decide how many questions they think they have gotten right. The more they have correct, the more they win, but if they are not exact enough, they win nothing.
