¿Quién quiere ser millonario? is the Costa Rican version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. Aired from 2009 to 2013 and from 2021 on Teletica channel. Hosted by Ignacio Santos Pasamontes. It is the first version in Central America.

  • In Season 1 (2009), 35 episodes aired, 112 contestants appeared in hot seat, 1105 questions asked and won 205,000,000 colon (approximately US$400,000).
  • On March 3, 2009, deaf contestant Carlos Gutiérrez Vargas appeared. His run hosted by two people - main host and Spanish sign language translator. He won ₡1,000,000.
  • On August 18, 2009, was an amazing case in the Costa Rican version's history, where the participant, Karla, used the Ask the Audience lifeline on the 10th question. The audience voted equally for all 4 options of the answer (25% each).
  • On 28 September 2021, an interesting case occurred on the episode were Kyle Albán Mora missing on the first question, followed immediately by a much nicer result in Inés Trejos' top prize win.
